The Opportunity
Planning a trip often means jumping between search engines, booking platforms, notes, maps, and messaging apps. Outbound brings those decisions into a single AI-guided experience.
Product Vision
Rather than generating itineraries alone, Outbound was designed to become an AI travel companion that plans, adapts, books, and supports every stage of a journey.
Approach
Instead of treating trip planning as a single task, the experience was designed around the full travel lifecycle, from inspiration and booking to the journey itself and the memories users keep afterwards.
Product design
Website
I designed the Workspace as a focused starting point for today’s meetings, team activity, performance signals, and customer relationships that need attention.

Registration/Login
I redesigned registration to reduce the commitment required before users experience Outbound. Guests can explore and create their first trip before being asked to create an account, with a simpler sign-up, verification, profile setup, and clear success states.

Trips
I redesigned the Trip page as the central workspace for every journey. Chat, itinerary, bookings, ideas, people, preferences, and media stay connected to the trip instead of feeling like separate parts of the app.

Activities
I made activities easier to discover, add, replace, and regenerate without rebuilding the entire itinerary. For travellers already at their destination, activities can also adapt around their current location or daily starting point.

Passport
I redesigned Passport away from a traditional analytics dashboard and made it feel more like a personal travel archive. Trips, countries, cities, maps, memories, and travel statistics come together in a visual experience designed to feel personal and shareable.

Paywall
Instead of relying only on a pricing screen, I designed contextual upgrade moments around features like trip limits, regenerations, Passport, exports, and other premium actions. I also covered the wider subscription experience, including payment, renewal, cancellation, expiry, and billing history.

Profile
I reorganised Profile around the things users actually need to manage: travel preferences, Passport, subscription, rewards, referrals, notifications, billing, account settings, and other personal controls.
